Plus this poster is BS how is my fav #40
Cucumber Tea?? What in gods holy name..!!!
I'd go #9, #2 (but needs some meat or tomato in the grilled cheese), then #4... The bahn mi is a severely underrated Vietnamese sandwich. Gotta find it from a place that's making their own french baguettes every morning and using pâté though.

Name "the best ones" you've been to. If your answer is Pat's and Geno's, then I've got some bad news for you. Tony Luke's isn't even the best.
Point number 1: The originators are always the best.
Point number 2: Nobody from Philly actually eats cheese whiz. That's saved for stupid people and idiot tourists. I've only ever had a cheese whiz steak once in my life. From then on, it was provolone when available, and American when not.
Point number 3: what you like is called a cheesesteak hoagie, sort of. There's actually a little more to it than just lettuce and tomato. And that was created in Philly too. And again, Philly does it the best.
Point number 4: Anybody in Virginia that you'll claim is better than Philly, probably came from Philly. And probably left Philly because they couldn't make it in Philly.
Point number 5: Screw you too.
Get outta here with your ol' bullshit dainty California fusion tastes.

I can give you a top 3, but after that, order becomes murky:
My #1 is, of course, #12 Cheesesteak. My #2 is #14 the Meatball sandwich (it's not a sub with what they have listed, there's a little more to a sub than that), and my #3 is the Italian Sub, aka the Italian Hoagie.
I have eaten and love, in no particular order: #1 (kind of a staple breakfast for me, I eat it at least once a week), #2 (try bacon in it, Godfather, it's amazing), #3, #9, #11, #17, #21, #23, and #26. When I choose to eat them is based on desire and availability.
I would love to try the #18 Gyro, but it's kinda hard to come by Greek restaurants around here, and a #36, but I'm not gonna accept it unless it's in Chi-town. I want the original.
And this list is woefully incomplete. I guess we can lump Turkish doner wraps in with the Gyro, They're very similar. But there's a ton of other types of sandwiches and wraps that aren't listed here.

For real I could call about 80% of those sandwiches my favorite.. it just depends on the mood I am in.. Yesterday was a steak and cheese day, today I'm feeling #33..
Now that I'm thinking about it, I really want to find a place that makes gyros... and doner kebabs.
