School assistant ‘had sex with boy’ who said ‘it is kid's dream to do a teacher’

A teaching assistant faces a lengthy stint behind bars after she allegedly had sex with a 16-year old boy.

Courtney Roznowski, 31, was apprehended by cops after officers received a tip-off that she had an “unusually close” relationship with a pupil at a Wisconsin school.

Dates for a plea and sentencing hearing were set when Roznowski appeared in court earlier this week.

It indicates she might have planned to take a plea deal.

Cops carried out an investigation after an employee at Green Bay Southwest High School alerted investigators that staff had discussed her closeness to the boy.

They had often been seen walking through the school halls together.

Detectives quizzed the alleged victim, who at first denied the relationship before he reportedly told them “Well, it’s every kid’s dream to do a teacher”.

According to WBAY, Roznowski also denied the allegations – but when she was asked to hand over her phone, the teaching assistant began to cry.

A police report stated Roznowski told police: “We chatted a couple of times so I could make sure he was OK.”

She later admitted to having sex with the boy but said she only intended to be his mentor.



Again, according to the report, Roznowski also said she loved the victim “in a way, I didn’t want to see anything bad happen to him”.

Roznowski told cops she had been drinking heavily at the time of the alleged relationship and had been going through “extensive personal issues”.

The pupil told officers they had sex twice and claimed Roznowski had called him “special and deserved special things”.

Roznowski has since been charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of exposing intimate parts to a child.

Wisconsin’s age of consent is 17.

Both Roznowski’s plea and sentencing hearings are scheduled for March 9.

Her case is the latest teacher-pupil sex allegations to rock the US.
