I have been making my own rubs for BBQ items and then using this to finish them on the grill..

This is what I use on ribs and pulled pork.

That's the whole reason I decided to try it.
I don't think we have the spicy BBQ sauce version up here but I'm going to have to look, that'd be awesome. Sometimes I mix Sweet Baby Ray's and Sriracha cus I want it spicy

I'm gonna bet that they don't sell it up there for some reason. I looked on Amazon.ca and they have both the Sweet 'n Spicy and the Honey Chipotle, but they are super expensive. I have no idea why they wouldn't sell those up there right in the store.

Thanks for checking, ya I had a look at the store and it seems we only have honey, original and a hickory version. Doesn't shock me... for some reason up here a lot of variants of US brands are missing (pop and candy flavors for example), probably because some unique Canadian brands take up shelf space that US varietals would otherwise occupy? Just a theory. I'm definitely pickup the spicy stuff up on my next visit down south though.

Has anyone tried this Guacamaya Green? I've had it in Mexico a few times and I just smother it on eggs at breakfast, it fucking owns... but I cannot find it anywhere online at a reasonable price that ships up here!! There are other flavors available but not this one for some reason!

I haven't had that specific one, but a family member brought me a habanero hot sauce from Cancun that rocked and I can't find that anywhere on the web either.

For hot sauces, I'm pretty happy with the stuff you can get at the grocery store. People laugh when I tell them, put the cheap-ass Tapatio hot sauce is awesome, especially considering how cheap it is.

And I like the Cholula stuff as well.

I keep cholula on hand as well.. I really don't think of it as cheap sauce.

No, the Cholula is about 3 times the price of the Tapatio, not hugely expensive, but not cheap though either.

I think Cholula has a much more complex base.

I keep both in my fridge as well, they're both great. The green cholula is great too. Taco or fajita night at my place means at least 4 hot sauces on the counter

Aw man I'll be down in the US in two weeks, I'm going to pick a few new flavors up, definitely the sweet and spicy.
