The rubber Hogue grips change it considerably over the hard plastic that came with it.

Thanks I love it. The Takedown seems to really hold it's accuracy well even with taking it apart and back together. And the Backpacker stock is just sweet. Having both pieces lock together makes it great to transport, easy to throw in a backpack or a sling, and there is storage in the butt for 3 extra ten round mags or 1 mag and a small 50rd box of ammo. Also has waterproof storage in the grip for small tools, etc.

I have an AR 7, all the components fit into the waterproof buttstock and floats. It will actually float fully assembled also.
You may remember James Bond using one in From Russia With Love.
They are made by Henry now. Supposedly Henry has made a lot of improvements over my Charter Arms version.

Another collectable is my British 303. I really like that rifle, it still shoots fine. I was still hunting with a decade ago.
Some of the markings I've identified. It was made in the Lithgow factory which was situated at Lithgow in NSW, Australia in 1915. It was issued to the 3rd Military District (Southern Command, Victoria) stamped 3MD. It was rebarreled and reissued in 1944. It retired to the civilian market in April of 1955. Some where along the way it was sportarised so that the fore end stops about halfway along the barrel and the front sight shroud band has been removed.

Looks like a 'down-under' gun

I really like the look of this gun. Does anyone have/had any of Springfield Armory's weapons? Are they worth the money? I really don't really need another 9mm, but that's all they chamber it in, but I just love the look of it.
I stay away from Springfield Armory. I've never held a gun they manufactured that felt comfortable in my hand.

I've never held or shot one, sorry.
