Bugger - 10 months clean and now 1 bloke working in hotel quarantine has tested positive and our Premier has shut down the city and surrounding regions.

I wouldn't call it "community" transmission yet as the guy has been working in the quarantine environment. If anyone else out there comes down with it, then it's on!

It's a complete overreaction, but also - believe me - if it gets out of hand it's bloody horrible.

We're finding out about a lot of incompetence in the system. Under the table cashies for security guards on student visas.... Security guards not being tested regularly... security guards also driving Ubers and the like... I'm surprised we did so well for so long.

those bastards at the church made me wear a mask to enter, and I almost couldnt contain my laughter at the idiocy of the established protocols for the sheep who attend. I pulled it off once I got to the pew and accidentally broke both strings, so I think I got off with only having to wear the meme for about one actual minute. at the funeral home when I walked in, I acted like it was completely normal and they didnt say anything, my mom was like how did you get in without a mask? and I said I just walked in like a bawse /point & smile

Are you a complete moron ? Why would you not want to wear a mask to protect yourself and to provide possible protection t those around you?

How do you think you would feel if you were to contract Covid and end up on a ventilator?

The other things is that if you are attending church, it follows that you believe in a god? How can you believe in that fiction and not Covid?
