Made a pretty good spiced applesauce bread today. I used coconut oil to grease the pan and added coconut flakes to the recipe.
My wife used to make fresh bread.i loved it. Gonna have to have her start making it again.

I made a sourdough starter (unbleached flour, water) last week collecting airborne yeast, made bread last night

"airborne yeast" I don't know what that is... It's a shame I don't have something that can look up information like that.

I think it was because I started it with spelt berries I had just ground and it was too coarse. The last three days I have been feeding it with all purpose and today it nearly doubled in 4 hours.
I think I will name it Abby. ( Young Frankenstein)
