Not quite the same as watching Apollo missions on a black and white console that took up a whole corner of the living room with a viewing screen smaller than my desktop monitor.

The only drawback to watching the launch was that every time they referred to the astronauts and said Bob and Doug, all I could think of was:

This is great, I love Bob & Doug They're having so much fun it seems. Man I hope we live long enough to get a chance to experience zero-g at an affordable price one day.

A nice little distraction from all the other shit 2020 had/has in store, i actually had a tear in my eye when it launched....... dunno why it made me emotional but it did.

I think all of us at some point (probably as kids) have wondered what else is out there past our own planet, be amazing to one day colonize another planet or actually find (and reveal ) intelligent life-forms from another planet/galaxy etc. The universe is so vast it would be stupid to ever say for certain that there's nothing else out there!

Anyhow, delighted it all went well - congrats to all involved
