35-year-old Elizabeth Jackson was charged with domestic assault when dispatch heard her screaming, officers heard her slapping, and she stated she was hitting her “roommate” to get him “in the mood” when he didn’t want to have sex with her.

On May 22nd, Metro Nashville Police were called to 719 Cheyanne Boulevard where a man reported his roommate was being suicidal and abusive. The dispatch could hear Elizabeth Jackson screaming and striking John Mayo. According to the affidavit, officer could also hear slapping when they approached the open door.

When asked, Jackson said the slapping was playful and Mayo strongly disputed that. Elizabeth Jackson gave the statement to officers that she was mad because Mayo would not have sex with her and was cheating on her. She also admitted to forcing him to hug her and hitting him “to get him in the mood.” Jackson also threatened self-harm and Mayo told her she needed to see someone to get her medications straightened out. Officers noted visible injury on Mr. Mayo.

Elizabeth Jackson was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $2,000.
