You guys mentioned Jack Lalanne so here's my story.
The year 1974. Setting, beautiful campground along the Pacific coast north of Seattle. Dad had left the portable TV he took everywhere sitting on the picnic table.
My brother, myself and a buddy returned to camp from hiking the trails down to the beach and were sitting there shooting the shit oblivious to what was on TV.
Along comes a newscaster with film crew in tow and tells us she is doing a story on what people are doing over the holiday weekend and asked if she could film us.
We said , "Hell yeah, we'll just turn the TV off."
She's like,"Nope... the TV is why we chose you."
So that is how 3 teenage boys ended up on the evening news watching Jack Lalanne in a Pacific Northwest forest.

Eating healthy - most people's reactionalthough kale is disgustingly bitter unless its microgreened. my neighbor has some hydroponics going and gave me a bag of salad that had a bunch of kale in it, and it was sweet and delicious - but you cant let that shit grow past 3 inches tall or it starts getting grossly bitter
