Busted Influencers use fake private jet studio set to pretend they're flying in luxury

By Sophie Foster, Lifestyle & Travel Reporter - The Daily Star

Appearance obsessed influencers are tricking people into thinking they’re flying on private jets by using a specially designed studio.

If you’ve seen your Insta-crush living it up on-board then it might just be a lie, reports Metro.

In fact, rather than being in a million pound plane, they could be in a warehouse…

Looking at the photos, the studio is highly realistic – and anyone could be tricked into thinking it’s a real plane.

Twitter user MaisonMelissa lifted the curtain on the fake flights – leaving fans shocked at the duplicity.

They said: “Nahhhhh I just found out LA IG girlies are using studio sets that look like private jets for their Instagram pics.

“It’s crazy that anything you’re looking at could be fake.

"The setting, the clothes, the body… idk it just kinda of shakes my reality a bit lol.”

Looking into the space, the Olympic 4 studio “with unique Private Jet set and artificial window lights” is available to rent for $64 per hour.

That’s around £50 to take snaps like you’re flying in a private aeroplane.

You can look at the set on Peerspace – it’s available in California, and is tipped as a spot to film “e-commerce/ simple portrait shoots”.

The room has been spotted in photos by Kennedy Cymone – who has 1.6m followers – and Azra Mian – who has 91k followers.

After the trick was unveiled on Twitter, TikTok users who had filmed in the space found their comments sections inundated.

It seems people don’t like it when influencers lie.

And, while you can still take all the photos your heart desires in the set-up spots, you might want to add a disclaimer if you choose to post them.

    A hashtag should do it…
