Funny Italian never came to mind when I read the title... it's like I hardly think of it as 'ethnic' because it's so synonymous with my childhood despite being Canadian

I'd be really hard pressed to give up Chinese or Indian though, Vancouver has some great authentic restaurants for both (the various regional Chinese foods are fun to try).

My buddy's married to a chinawoman and my younger brother's girlfriend, same (as in also chinese
) My younger brother is a really good cook, whenever he wasnt working while over there, he was checking out all kinds of different foods. He'd find that odd side street alley with the old grandma cooking over a wok burning right in the damned street
Real authentic chinese food is really good. But fuck tofu, get that nasty bullshit out of here. And congee is pretty bland.
