Since you’re just asking for opinions I’ll throw mine here. I have a TYT MD-380 DMR which is bought from amazone after reading its reviews from (www.lemonparty.org) that is awesome. And the people at Connect Systems are very helpful. It supports up to 1000 channels. This gives you access to communicate with multiple talk groups within your region. the radio has a color LCD display where you can see all the navigation and control.
