The unusual shadow taken on Mars may be seen on Google Mars at 8 ° 51’37.66 ′′ N 171 ° 55’27.01 ′′ E.

Several Internet users believed that it could represent the presence of a satellite resembling the famous Black Knight, but flying above Mars.

The “shadow” appears on a mountain and is around 800 meters long. Because nothing close can project it, it is assumed to be from anything in the heavens at the moment.



“It doesn’t look like a natural shadow; it looks fake,” Tyler Glockner of the SecureTeam10 channel, where a video about the aforementioned discovery was released, adds.

“It almost appears like a fighter plane or some kind of aircraft from the side, with a tail and all.”

The figure’s resemblance to the “Black Knight” seen in a photograph taken from the International Space Station during the STS-88 mission in 1998 has drawn the greatest attention.

Many ufologists believe that this object is an extraterrestrial satellite that has been orbiting the Earth with an almost polar track for 13,000 years.

However, critics and academics have dismissed it as a conspiracy theory and myth, concluding that this particular object was space junk: a thermal shield that had become mistakenly detached during the voyage.



Regardless, Tyler makes an overlap between the shadow on Mars and the shot figure of the Black Knight in the film, revealing an almost identical match between the two shapes.

But wait, there’s more. Tyler recalls that this is not the first time anything like to this has been photographed on Mars. It dates back to 1988, when the Phobos 1 and 2 probes were sent to examine the Martian moon of the same name.

According to reports, the initial Soviet probe was lost owing to a radio command error. However, the second one arrived at the Martian moon and began transmitting photographs of the atmosphere and surrounds.

The amazing shot revealed various weird items, including what looked to be a very thin eclipse-shaped shadow on the surface.

And, just before the probe vanished, it relayed a snapshot of a massive object between the spacecraft and Mars.

“I believe that the gigantic cylindrical structure shown in this photo that circulated in newspapers around the world at the time, and whose elongated shadow reminds us of the latest discovery on Mars,” Tyler says.
