Old School Monthly bills (credit cards, utilities, etc)....email or hard copy mailed to you?

For me, I still prefer to have the hard copies mailed to me. It just is an extra reminder for me that there's a bill to pay. It's too easy (for me) to lose things in the ocean of email that I get and even though I go through it semi-regularly, my email provider still has the tendency to filter real email into the junk mail folder.

We have a cross-cut paper shredder at home, so we just shred the bills when they are paid and we don't need the paper statements any more.

Kind of a mix. Most of the bills I'm receiving are for medical stuff anyway, so I need the hard copies to claim the expenditures on my tax returns. For the things I can't claim on taxes, I just get emailed.

Do you have a dedicated email address for bills or do you just have them sent to your main personal email account?

My main personal. All of my other email addresses are for other things.

Little of both. Some (like cell phone, mortgage) are auto-pay.

It's a mix of paper copy, email copy. Also a mix of Online pay and autopay. No checks since I sold the house. I think my Amazon CC bill, electric and internet might be the only three that aren't set to autopay now.

I fucking hate paper bills. They are a scourge on humanity.

I get a lot of bills mailed but I pay them almost exclusively electronically

For me, definitely all email. I don't want any paper coming in unless it's absolutely unavoidable.

My favorite is my internet/cable provider. No emails or paper bills, they just send a text that says 'your monthly payment of $__ has been withdrawn'. If it's higher than normal I'll know to dig deeper, but otherwise it's a quick text and I can basically forget about it

I like having the physical reminder to make sure I pay the bills.

Exactly the same. I pay everything through my bank's bill pay. I sit down once a week and put in the new bills to schedule them to be paid. I only have one thing on auto pay and that's the cell phone bill.

We are a mixed marriage - I am OK with digital, the Mrs likes the hard copies to be mailed still. I am the one usually paying them, though, through the computer.

I just file them and ever 5 years we have a shredding session.
