It really is for teen girls, and it's all kinds of not-White/Christian (it's mostly Pakistani/Indian family/culture, including a historical context of the 1947 partition of India) but whatever, it's kinda interesting once you get past the girlie crap. Given nothing else is really on on Wednesdays, I'm invested. It's only 6 episodes.
