It used to be that a show would take a few weeks off for the holidays and then come back in early January with new episodes. Now, they all end in early-ish December and are gone until the end of January/beginning of February. It's stupid.
I know you didn't stick with it, but old shows like Lost used to put out 22 or 24 shows every season. Work for your money!
