I downloaded the first few episodes and was planning on watching it many moons ago, but never got around to it. Not many people like this series when you read reviews about it.

It's 100 years after the first Cochrane flight and Bakula plays the son of a scientist who helped engineer the first warp drive engine. Humans feel that the Vulcans have been too restrictive with space flight knowledge and it's cool that humans like Bakula harbor a little prejudice against the Vulcans

IMO you want to ruin a sci-fi series, add a cutesy character. Like at that cook on Voyager...Felix or Nelix or Double Helix...whatever Voyager had 7 of 9 and all of the Borg holy crap moments, they didn't need to add any gheyness. Opening Enterprise episode had a light tone coupled with serious moments...I liked the references to older equipment on the ship

I have 4 seasons so I'm in for the long haul

Watched about half of season one...I can see where the complaints are coming from

The opening music with the credits is soooo wrong


It's still about exploration and firsts so I'm enjoying it...
