A writer has written a story and the TV treatment has changed so much, that only the name is the same. They've taken major ideas and ignored or changed them.

How about this....I'm curious to see where it goes with this new TV treatment and adding the second season. The books features ideas that play into how the story is resolved, the TV series has changed every one of those. I can't list the differences as it will ruin it for those who haven't read the book. They are major differences and 3 things occurred in this week's episode that will change the story completely.

If I didn't read the book, this would be the sort of show that I really like
it's not bad on it's own, better than most new TV IMO
