ok my critique of Arrow....love the premise
but for a show supposedly taking place in Florida, they sure wear a lot of overcoats
also...the guy's mandate is to rid Starling City of corruption based on a list of wealthy people...have you seen that list? It's 20 pages long with 15 names on each page ffs
and he's recently started helping 'normal' people with other criminals (a few)....holy shit there's people being raped and murdered nightly, yet he avoids that and wants to nail J P Getty in the boardroom

I don't recall them placing Starling City in any particular state. It was analogous to Gotham and Metropolis. It's in the same DC Universe that Batman and Superman exist in, but they never name a specific location.ok my critique of Arrow....love the premise

Keep watching. His objective changes slightly after the first season.
In the comics, Oliver Queen didn't start off as a good guy. So Arrow's Oliver Queen is already ahead of the curve.
