the book was great...I think they took the ideas and made Exorcist 3, which was dreadful IMO
they also made a movie called Legion, which was at the time, both creepy and scary, if a little slow...
I understand now, that you were talking about a completely different Legion (foreign legion?)

The TV show is 25 years after that. The unborn kid of the film is one of the characters. Like I said, it's not very good.
