and I try not to compare books to TV shows...but in this case there were key elements of the book, the TV series just ignored and went off in other directions with...

I don't find the series that bad....other than some of the acting, the writing, the bastardization of one of the coolest book ideas I've ever read.... ok, there's problems

Yeah, but I think the fact the you find him unlikable shows he's still doing good acting

Big Jim Rennie in the book did nothing nice.....I think the TV character seems to struggle with being a dick and actually helping people at times...

and Dean Norris will always be DA Schradar to me
