This is the only episode I have seen, but I watched it since I see you guys talk about it all the time, its a top to bottom cheese-fest.
the other 3 seasons may help to ingratiate you
you gotta know the background to appreciate the various plots...it gets sexy and nasty and serious at times..

there's not much male gheyness in True Blood other than a shocking homo-erotic dream that's played for big laughs by one of the characters
oh and there's one vampire thrall for one of the big vampires that's obviously an interior decorator by trade.
what there is though... are hot chicks, hot sex, and freaks running around everywhere exploding bodies and drinkin beer

it gets pretty bad when you can luck out on whole seasons of tv shows....they go by so fast that way and I don't think you fully appreciate what happened throughout the year.
I've watched multiple seasons of shows within 2 weeks of real time and you can see the actors age, gain weight etc

Just watched Season 4, Episode 1 of True Blood... they ended that first one with quite the cliffhanger, didn't they?
