We liked the first episode, has a lot of potential
I'm trying to be polite because this type of show may not be your jam
It's all drama and moves at a glacial pace for the entirety of the series.
That being said the actors, content and how they handle the main issue is stellar.
You don't know all of my likes and dislikes when it comes to TV
And it can't possibly be that much slower than The Killing was and the wife and I both enjoyed that one.
I know some of them Lance Snow...you bailed on Lost and that was a show that was interesting and amazing all the way through until the end.

And yes Rectify is slower than The Killing. Type of show that gives you a certain feeling from the scenes without using much dialog. I really liked the lead actor in Rectify and every supporting actor is cast perfectly.
Without spoilers, what do you think about this season of Ray?
It's definitely different from previous seasons, that's for sure. The whole thing so far is pretty much a downer.
I like the format and how they're telling the story, but yes agreed...hard to watch at times.
