Great side story about a white DEA/CIA guy who may or may not be dirty, rich Jewish drug lords and a bunch of black folk from south central LA.

It's gotten to be a tense, great series

It's similar and the guy is intelligent business wise, isn't a druggie and is making millions from crack. I'm not sure how close it is to the truth in terms of origin stories.

I read there was a guy like him who found out the recipe and of course in the early 80's coke was a license to print money in the white world

Unfortunately crack was so cheap it became available for poorer black folks and the show doesn't sugar coat it. Right away they show people getting screwed up from it, giving bj's etc.

Great side story about the white DEA guy going down to central America and getting coke to sell.
