A BBC-production of M.R. James 'Whistle and I will Come To You'. Actually, I watched two adaptations: one from the 60s and one from 10 years ago. The one from the 60s was much closer to the original source material. The newer version, starring the late John Hurt, was more of a meditation on Alzheimer's/Dementia, and they changed a bunch of junk to fit that narrative, so it really wasn't anything close to resembling the original story. I wish I found these things on Saturday.
