Masters of the Air episode 1. Was waiting for this for years and just read Big Week: The Biggest Air Battle of World War II by James Holland which got me in the mood.

First episode was good. Maybe not episode 1 of Band of Brothers good, but solid. The only bad thing I'll say is that Austin Butler's accent is extremely hard to listen to and wrecks the emersion for me. Apparently he'd just filmed the Elvis movie and had worked for a year on that accent and so it feels like he's doing a bad Elvis impersonation the entire time. I've read he couldn't shake it and wasn't doing it intentionally... but that seems like some typical Hollywood actor boy, look-at-me bullshit and it's just annoying. Hope his character dies
