I was just thinking how great it would be to win $10 million dollars...yes, that's what I've always wanted. A big tenner.
It gave me a few days of dread and then I mostly got over it. I did delete Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook (or rather I deleted the apps, couldn't bring myself to nuke the accounts). I browse Twitter and Reddit with anonymous accounts.
Everything is listening from my phone to my TV like you said.. In my mind, I either accept that every device is pillaging my data, or go live in the bush. It's creepy when I say to a friend "hey, what shoes are those" and 10 minutes later I see that company's targeted ads... but at the end of the day, I'm basically an android already. I'm are connected at the hip to devices with insane power and access to information that generations even 20-years ago couldn't imagine and there's still a lot of upside to infinite information, comfort, convenience and entertainment at our fingertips. Guess that's how I justify it
