Looking at the list of countries involved, I'm actually surprised that some of them qualified.

I have no idea who's good and who isn't. I know that the Caribbean countries/territories and Japan are heavyweights, and usually favorites, but I don't pay attention to international play at all.

You're not kidding. That shouldn't be surprising, I think that's the only sport they play down there.

Britain plays baseball about as much as they play gridiron football. I'm surprised they even have a team at all.
