I think the most immature thing about me is that I watch many of Mr Beast's vids even though it's intended for a much younger demo and often sort of cringe, if you're a grown man
The youtube algo forces me to, ok!
Honestly, I can find very little fault in him, regardless of political or religious opinions. It's harmless, way over the top stunts. Silly shit like buying an entire grocery store and making someone live in it for $10K a day until they quit, or giving away a lambo to the last person who takes their hand off it (and paying the taxes on their winnings, I've read). Truly upbeat fun with no deep thought required, and some feel-good moments sprinkled through a ton of charitable giving. The guy doesn't live a lavish lifestyle, and if you watch interviews he just loves Youtube more than anyone. He sleeps, breathes and eats youtube and seems to work incredibly hard at making fun content. I readily admit it's goofy and childish, but the kid just seems like a good guy until I'm proven otherwise.
Those criticizing him would criticize a golden retriever for being too cute, or a plane for arriving too on time. They're dick-riders looking for a headline. Bottom feeding losers.
Now I will say... giving those losers air time like Maher is doing here is pointless. I have to think 99% of regular humans either don't know Mr Beast, or don't need Maher calling attention to the haters to realize they're haters and the internet already agrees, but I agree with everything he said.
