As we all know, the EU has a big problem with that whole sovereignty thing where its member nations are concerned. (This is explicitly because the EU was created to usurp those member nations' sovereignty.)

Brussels launches legal action against Hungary
The bill's implementation rests on the newly established "Office for the Defence of Sovereignty," which can collect information on individuals or groups that receive foreign funding and are perceived to influence the country's political debate and electoral processes. Hungary's secret services are compelled to assist the authority.

The United States had previously criticised the law, decrying its "draconian tools that can be used to intimidate and punish those with views not shared by the ruling party."

fun fact: the USA has the same law: Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA)

DAKAR, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Niger last week missed a debt payment of 13.4 billion CFA francs ($22 million), the West African debt management agency said on Monday, bringing the total default to some $519 million since a July coup and its suspension from regional financial markets.

The West African monetary union debt management agency UMOA Titres said in a statement that Niger had failed to make a repayment of principal which was due on Feb. 16.

It noted that this occurred in the context of Niger being subject to sanctions imposed by the conference of heads of state and government of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (known by its French acronym, UEMOA).

"This situation is carefully monitored by UMOA-Titres in collaboration with the institutions concerned," it said in a statement.

Niger has been suspended from the regional financial market, and the regional central bank by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and UEMOA following a military coup in July that ousted President Mohamed Bazoum.

The country announced last month, along with neighbours Mali and Burkina Faso, that it was leaving ECOWAS with immediate effect. The regional bloc has a summit planned for Feb. 24 to discuss the situation.
sanction a country when they dont go along with the globalist leader-install arm twist and tell them they owe the regional central bank money

Massive “i-Soon” leak reveals Chinese firm's hacking tools, targets, including NATO

Tools, gripes of contractor working for China's Ministry of Public Security dumped online in landmark breach

A massive leak of documents from a Chinese cybersecurity vendor, i-soon – allegedly working for the Ministry of Public Security – has exposed a range of offensive security tools and operations, along with pronounced ennui among its staff about their pay and pace of product development.

The documents were anonymously posted on GitHub, where they were picked up and shared by Taiwanese security researcher @AzakaSekai_ on Sunday. They show i-soon – also known as An Xun – boasting in presentations and other documents of having breached or targeted India’s defence ministry, NATO and the UK’s National Crime Agency, as well as having sustained and deep access to telcos in neighbouring states.

i-soon appears to offer hacking tools and services to the Chinese government; acting like an APT-for-hire. According to a group of geopolitics and security researchers posting as “NATTO” in 2023, it was founded by patriotic hacker, CEO Wu Haibo (吴海波) , a.k.a shutdown.

The trove includes presentations boasting of its capabilities, including malware for various platforms including Microsoft Exchange and Android, social media spying tools including how it identifies dissident Twitter/X and Facebook users., and custom hardware for network infiltration.
Well, our allies hack us with a wink and a nod behind the scenes, and we know Biden and Mcconnel et al all have their Chinese connections and handlers, so its pretty safe to assume this is just some pot stirring that The Law wouldnt touch
