Ach it wasnae THAT bad, i've seen waaaaay worse. When I went it was more for the 3D experience, it was my first and it was fine, it was also my last so far, but thats been down to cost not the movie, my local cinema charges a friggin fortune so i just dont pay it.
I just switched off my brain and enjoyed it as a visual experience and it was, the movie was beautiful.. to look at!
The plot rather predictable but fuck it, I dinnae always wanna watch the likes of Solaris or some other head scratcher!

It's a good couples movie, nothing raunchy and a good story.
Not sure if my husband has seen it either. We're more into music than movies, but I'll keep your recommendation in mind.
It's a visual sci-fi movie that takes place mostly on the jungle planet of Pandora...if that's your bag
Kind of a neat story too about a paraplegic who gets to walk again through new technology.
I like scifi. Although I'm more into post apocalyptic than feel good stories. Avatar sounds kind of like Close Encounters.
This won't spoil it...it's not really a feel good story

And I do remember that when my ex took the kids to see it, he said it was the best movie he'd ever seen, whereas when we saw Close Encounters back in the day, he was totally disgusted at the ending.
