    I enjoyed the first few seasons of Glee...and I'm a hard marker on cutesy things...


    it was a lot edgier than I expected, quite humorous at times and they did unusual versions of songs that I liked

    One of the only musical movies that I've liked recently was Across the Universe...

    Jim Sturgess and some other relatively unknown actors at the time sing Beatles songs throughout the movie. Even if you're not a Beatles fan, the movie is quite good.

    I saw Grease as a lad and recall that Travolta was a draw because of his time on the Welcome Back Kotter TV show and Olivia Newton John in those tight black pants was another reason...
