Better graphics than the first movie, some good fight scenes but ultimately another empty offering.

I love Sullivan Stapleton in the TV series Strike Back. He's miscast here unfortunately.

Eva Green plays an evil, violent character and I didn't buy it. I see her as a shy wallflower in a Victorian dress, rather than a deadly fighter.

Cinematography gets top marks

story and acting get subpar marks so it's a 2 joint or 5 beer movie at best

you ever watch the TV show Spartacus Porky?

first season was a little rough for 3 episodes or so....then it kicks into high gear, complete with nudity and slow motion bloodletting

there's only 3 seasons with a few episodes each...I highly recommend watching all of them from the start. It's 300+

aye but you missed graphic action and studly proclamations of honor...so what if there were scenes of beefy-muscley men all oiled up and massaging each other after tough matches..


come to think of it, there were two ghey gladiators

The slave orgy scenes and slow mo titillation scenes far outweighed any Anal-Gladitorial scenes that may have been shown...from halfway into season one to the final season, it was full on fighting and fckn

Serious movie mistakenly described as a black comedy, about a good priest in a small Irish village. Someone threatens him in confession, telling him he will be killed in 7 days.

Interesting premise on paper...and I could watch Brendan Gleeson reading a phone book...too bad the movie is slow, depressing, with no real resolution or meaning.

The guy who plays Little Finger from Game of Throens was in Calvary playing an atheist doctor, friend of Gleeson the priest....he was the only bright spot in the whole movie.


People were downright nasty to the village priest, when all he was trying to do was help them ffs weird movie..

Truth be told, there's only one show i'm currently watching (Supernatural) so i'll be looking for something else when i've caught up with that I wonder if GOT is on Netflix
