Its so fucking slow, the setting and acting really gets you into it, but then... just nothing happens. Its kind of a sci-fi/thriller/existential artsy fartsy film that depends on the mood of the story to build tension, because other than the location they have no special effects. Ultimately I thought the "climax" was incredibly anti-climatic, but I was glad I waited to see the very end of it.

Cant really recommend unless you like very long movies with bouts of intense dialogue spaced between long sequences with absolutely no dialogue.
If this is the one know as 'Stalker', I've seen it as well. I recall liking it as I smoked multiple doobies to understand it

I thought the same with the first one. Interesting premise...could have been great but turned out average.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Same story as the last one: Good story, but I'm a little disappointed with the CGI.

I agree, even when they are low budget. I still enjoy them. And he isnt always the best actor, but I still dont seem to care. This movie though, I thought he did a great job, as well as the kid (he was in Mud, if you saw that)

One of my favorites as a kid he was in called Wild at Heart, if you havent seen it you should check it out.
