    Short summary:

Frankenstein's monster is unwillingly involved in a battle between two supernatural forces: demons and gargoyles. The gargoyles are good creatures who protect the Earth from the evil demons.

    I'd say 5/10.

I actually liked this quite a lot. A very unusual tale highlighting the connections between lives past and present. The Sci-fi and dystopian elements are an additional bonus for me.

    7/10

    The Calling

Canadian production that's set in Canada about a small town detective and a string of mysterious murders. Kinda has the Fargo vibe and was well acted and interesting

Well done Indie thriller about a homeless man who wants to exact revenge on the person who killed his family members.

Great cinematography, tight pacing, not much dialogue and finally...some realism in the paint by numbers genre of revenge flicks.

Pretty funny. Not the absolute best movie that's come out this summer, but it's way better than the insult of a movie Lucy and the piece of shit known as the Amazing Spider-man 2.

    So far:

    1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
    2. X-Men: Days of Future Past
    3. Guardians of the Galaxy
    3. Godzilla
    4. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
    5. Hercules
    6. The Amazing Spider-man 2
    7. Lucy

TMNT is getting slammed by critics and viewers everywhere. I'm gonna pass on it.

I'm looking forward to Chris Nolan's Interstellar w/ Matthew McConaughey in November. Waiting on Sin City 2 to come out as well. I might go see the Expendables 3 and the November Man looked pretty interesting in it's previews, although it's just another old guy killer/assassin showing up the new blood flick. Maybe a little more serious than Red, but in the same vein.

I loved it Felt like a mix between The Warriors and The Running Man If you've seen the first one then you know the premise, each year there's a 12 hour period where all crime is legal - the first film is centered around one family/one house, this movie is on the move across the city the whole time where our heroes are trying to stay alive as the Purging gangs are cruising around killing everything in sight! Check your brain in at the door and enjoy it for what it is, mayhem! 7.5/10 for me.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brought in an estimated $25.6 million on its first day in theaters, including $4.6 million from screenings on Thursday night. Though it was widely expected to be in a tight race for No. 1 with Guardians of the Galaxy, TMNT more than doubled the estimated Friday earnings of Marvel’s reigning champ ($12.34 million).

The big opening day puts the $125 million Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies reboot on track to take in around $62 million this weekend, beating analyst and studio estimates of a $40 million start. Audiences were mostly male (61 percent) and age 25 or older (55 percent); they were more receptive to the movie than critics, awarding it a Cinema Score of B, though kids exiting the theaters gave it an A.

Ok, let me revise my statement. TMNT is getting slammed by critics and other people who left reviews online. I've never been a really big fan of the franchise, so I'm gonna err on the side of caution and skip it, regardless of how much money it makes over the weekend.

I really don't have an interest either. I guess I was too old to get sucked into that craze.

Don't have any interest in seeing Guardians of the Galaxy either.
