I liked this more than The Hunger Games movies. Thinking that reading the books may answer a few things like...

    Why?

You have a society that functions well being divided into 5 distinct factions. They have a huge wall that protects them from......what? And an overseeing faction led by Kate Winslet that wants to undermine and change the existing 5 factions? Because she figures the Erudites are better candidates to lead than Abnegation people? I did like that the world was divided essentially by behavior...but didn't care for the faction divisions themselves...Candor....really

    Fury

Fictionalized account of a tank crew near the end of WW2... GREAT movie

Below, one of the real life heroes Pitt's character was based on.

This guy in a nutshell: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lafayette_G._Pool

    Over 1,000 kills

250 German prisoners of war taken

    12 confirmed tank kills

258 total armored vehicle and self-propelled gun kills

All of which took place in a combat career that covered only 81 days....Pool lost a leg, went back to the states and opened a gas station/garage and then reenlisted for the Korean War...

    Into the Storm

I thought it was entertaining Don't listen to the critics. Ignore the acting/character decisions/motivations and just let the good twister and carnage effects wash over you

Not sure if Syfy made this....the wreckage and aftermath effects were very realistic. This show is no worse than Twister, great cheesefest with some funny bits

Yeah, it was good entertainment....I had a few issues with it not being anywhere close to realistic, but it was still a good tense movie from start to finish

It was a documentary based on real events

They could have followed a little more science or made it more believable

A Million Ways to Die in the West

It had some funny moments...a little bit too many Family Guy-like interactions and self awareness for me though. The title and one scene with Seth listing all the ways a person could die in the 1800's was pretty spot on

Sandra had extensive lung training and all astronauts can hold their breath for 19.5 minutes

Did read that the sounds of her breathing were a form of 'acting' and the movie was directed that way to give the viewer a sense of fear, urgency and isolation.

That movie was a lot better than expected Don't know why I left it on my desktop for over a week...

    Good cinematography, acting and story.
