Hello all, if you're like me the recent Firefox update is annoying (13.0). Now, when you open new tabs it shows your history. I don't like this because if you ever need a quick Cntrl-T to hide a page (like this forum), it shows sites you spend (read: waste) the most time on
It's easy to change this, but it's not in the Options where it should be so follow my simple steps!
1. Type in "about:config" in your browser bar. Agree to continue where it says "I'll be careful, I promise"
2. Search "browser.newtabpage.enabled", or scroll down to find it
3. Right click and hit Toggle
4. Done! Hit Cntrl-T to test.
If you want to actually select a website for New Tabs to open to every time instead of a blank page, go to the same place, and select the option below it called "browser.newtab.url" and right click to Modify. Then change that to whichever site you prefer.
Anyways, all very simple. Hope it helps one or two who were bothered by this update as I was.
