IE9 Release
I really like what Microsoft has done with IE9. It is super fast and I like a lot of the changes. It is beyond Beta now and up to the RC release. If you want to give it a whirl you can grab it here:
www.microsoft.com/IE9
And to make things even better, I think MS is learning when it comes to browser customization. While IE9 is still not nearly as customizable as Chrome or Firefox, it is slowly getting better. I came across a free ad blocker that works with IE9 (and I assume it works with IE8 as well). I have been using it for a few days and it seems to work really well so far. You can grab it here:

Last Pass Password Manager
This thing rocks....it's free (although there is also a paid version, but so far the free version does all I want and then some) and it's a great password manager. It works with all four major browsers now too....FF, Opera, IE, and Chrome. If you don't have one, I recommend this one highly. Install it on every PC you use, keep one master password to login, and then you have all your passwords all the time.

I use Firefox with the adblock plus (absolute necessity!) and I have the persona's add on as well which means I have a lovely white tiger for the whole of my address/toolbar

As Opera users, I don't need a ton of scripts/add-ons since a lot of it is built in and has been forever..but now we Opera users have extensions to use aswell, but I have found only one this far to use... Imageresizer - does the same as FF does: fits the pictures on the page so that one doesn't have to scroll up/down/sidetoside to see all of it. I had adblock, but I didn't see it doing any better job than Opera's built-in content blocker.

Ad Blocking for IE
IE9 uses tracking protection lists to control certain things and I was looking around and it can be used just like AdBlock Plus for FF. All you have to do is add the list and it's done. Someone made a list for IE based on the list for FF AdBlock plus and you can grab it here:
http://dayngo.com/static/filter.html
And another list by someone else:
http://fanboy.co.nz/ie.html
I added both lists just to be safe

Spell Check for IE9
I always thought it was stupid for MS not to have a spell checker built in to IE9. Well, there is a free addon that will do it for you and it works just like the spell check in FF. You can grab it here:
