I can sympathize....I have an irrational fear of moths....I hate them

We were camping once and quite impaired...one of my buds says - Did you see that thing? I think it was a bat....
Then a few seconds later we hear this SIZZLE sound and a huge flying creature drops near our fire.

I swear....this thing was the Demi-God of all moths.Still moving and twitching, it had about a 10 inch wingspan and the body of a small North Korean male
the fucker must have came from the Jurassic age

we get big spiders and centipedes down here in the basement...and I always see them at night, right after a I turn on a light in a room

it's like they wait.......

The other week I saw a huge spider (about the size of a quarter) on the wall and you'd laugh if you saw what I used to take the fucker out
We have a bucket that we keep a pole in, to stir the salt in our water softener.Few swipes with the pole didn't phase him so it was BOOM - bottom of the bucket against the wall.

I had to use 3 Kleenexes for the burial

Same thing here in Colorado....the altitude and dry air keeps most bugs at a minimum thankfully

Why do you stir your salt?

Noob question cause I'm relatively new to using water softners.

Why do you stir your salt?

Noob question cause I'm relatively new to using water softners.

We get 50 pound bags of rock salt and the conditioner is a relatively tall, thin unit.So at times we have to poke and stir the salt chumks so it settles.
Not a must, it does help with the sound.(salt will settle and move as it's being broken down)
