I have been listening to a lot of doom metal lately. Its hard as fuck
I remember listening to Candlemass and several others back in the day (late 80s), but I didn't really get into it until the Melvins got a little more airplay. I have to be in a mood for Doom/Sludge metal.

Check out Witchfinder General when you get the chance. Early 80s stuff. Laid the foundation for the genre.
