To be completely honest, I can't understand why half of these guys are on the can't cut list to begin with. Are they trying to duplicate a no-trade clause or something like that? If it was a merit-based system, half of the guys that are on the can't cut list wouldn't be there.Who's gotta go DGX?

Why do NHL teams insist on listing players as DTD when they will be out for weeks at a time instead of just sticking them on IR?

I've got Mike Green on my roster....one of the top level defensemen in the league when healthy who has been listed DTD almost all season. He's played 8 games all year yet the Caps just decided to now put him on IR
