Scarfed 2 of those little crack cheeseburgers from Mcdicks in the car tonight driving home from a client's Chinese New Year's dinner Man those burgers have gotten smaller and smaller but they still tasted amazing.... this dinner was at a legit Cantonese seafood place... no lemon chicken or sweet and sour pork. More like 9 courses of sea-cucumber, jellyfish, abalone, dried shrimp soup. Don't get me wrong, I'm an adventurous eater and that's not my first rodeo with real Chinese food so I can nibble well enough to fit in, but I don't love most of it and left hungry

good: mom made mariscotta yesterday, I stuffed myself ridiculous and had a few glasses of one of mom's nice bordeauxs he has on hand

bad: I had to resort to eating mcdonalds saturday while driving back. I cant believe people eat that slop, my stomach was not happy

I firmly believe it's a universal experience, about twice a year even the healthiest eaters still have to shamefully sit in a car, pound back a big mac and then have the McRegrets Sure scratches an itch going down though.
