I read a bit in the newspaper a few weeks back, people in the UK were booking holidays to India to get their teeth fixed. You can get pretty much a whole new set of implants (crowns, whatever you call them) for somewhere around £1000 all done in excellent facilities.......... just shows how badly ripped off the rest of us are

Don't know if you read my various bitches...I was getting charged 100 dollars for every 10 minutes of occlusional adjustments on my teeth by a TMD specialist.

That's 600/hour...4800 per day for the dentist.They already have the drill and the various heads, burrs etc....all they pay for is the disposable PH paper being used to mark my teeth....

I guess I can't complain but I'm now off my parent's health plan and because my new job is a small company, there are none. Up until 6 months after graduating I had 90% coverage on dental through my Dad's plan, but that's gone now.

So I've been flossing and brushing like a mother fucker I can handle the cost of a check-up but I don't really want to waste two day's wage on a couple fillings every year. They say benefits are 20% of what you earn. Well, I have none and do not make anywhere near 20% more than the doofus' selling insurance across the street for a big company with full benefits and tax savings matching.

Anyways.. that's my little rant. Taking care of teeth is not fun, but letting them rot must be a helluva lot worse.
