Coke followed by a Red Bull
Just cracked a beer. Local micro (not so small anymore) brew which has been my favorite for a few months - Steamworks Pale Ale. Really hoppy, pretty close to an IPA but very easy to session too.
Crown and 7 at a whiskey bar in Calgary.

What are you up to in Calgary smiles? That's cool, good time to visit.
Just needed a soul searching vacation away from the Texas heat and other shit. I did the Calgary Heritage Park today and then headed to Bannf. I like it here. 24 hours here and now I want to move here.
Decided to go for a more girlie drink tonight. I had a beer earlier in the day, so maybe that cancels it out.

Nice! That's a long way from home! The zoo there is really good too.
Should check out Vancouver next time if you haven't been... It's even nicer than Calgary (Hal if you're lurking it's time to come argue!) You won't want to stay though with the housing prices. Lot of cool young people moving from Van to Calgary because it's more affordable but still got a good west coast vibe, and some good jobs. Anyways off topic... have a great trip.

Thanks! I was actually just thinking about extending my trip another week and heading to Vancouver. Some friends invited me to go fishing with them there next week. I really want to go, but I can't afford the $10,000 a person to go. It's all inclusive, but still. After enjoying things so much today though, I may extend it, meet them there and just do my own thing in Vancouver while they are fishing.

Those all inclusive fishing places are crazy expensive. My wife just got back from one that was $5k for 4 days... our freezer is FULL of fish though
Not a bad idea just to come chill in Van though! Weather is perfect here right now, lots to see and do. Next Friday July 1 is Canada day so you'd surely find some great festivities. Just a ton of great food, especially Asian food, and outdoor hikes/activities to check out here too.
