Those all inclusive fishing places are crazy expensive. My wife just got back from one that was $5k for 4 days... our freezer is FULL of fish though

Not a bad idea just to come chill in Van though! Weather is perfect here right now, lots to see and do. Next Friday July 1 is Canada day so you'd surely find some great festivities. Just a ton of great food, especially Asian food, and outdoor hikes/activities to check out here too.

I will definitely consider it. I hesitate because I don't want to be away from my grandfather for another week because I don't trust anyone to actually go over there and care for him while I'm gone. It's tempting, and I will think on it.
