That guy was ridiculously smart compare to his two compatriots. Be helpful up to a point to save your own skin, survey the situation and your captors... he knew Rick was a cop just by observing him..., then take advantage of the situation when the opportunity presents itself. Fucking genius.

I like that guy. I hope that he joins the group when all is said and done, but they'll probably kill him off just the same.

Now the big question is, did he do that just to get away or is he running back to alert the rest of the cops in the hospital? Because notice he didn't run over and try and free the other two cops that were being held prisoner.

I'm wondering if he lied to Rick to set him up. Telling him that she would listen, but in reality, she won't. I think the whole Beth exchange with the key to get medicine for Carol supports that. The doctor said she was setting Beth up, and I'm waiting to see the fallout. Unless it was those cops that she paid fruit to the older guy to fake out.

He could be running away because she is a ruthless bitch, and she might just kill him for letting outsiders get the drop on him.

Yes that whole Dawn (Don) thing had me puzzled....she gives Beth an opportunity to save Carol, yet others say it's a set up

that Dawn person seems to really stretch the whole - we have to do what's best for the group. If I was the group, I'd be getting her out of there.
