Back to back days at 85° to set new record highs for the day. Way too early to be this hot.
La Nina is over
Been raining on and off here. Got up to 80°F.

It's been raining here non-stop for over 24 hours now. Standing water everywhere making the commute just absolute hell. First pic the wife took about 5 PM yesterday which was about 12 hours into it and the second pic she took about 4:30 this morning. First one is just under 2-1/2" of rain and the second one is at 4" of rain. It's getting close to time to build an ark.
Happy plants
Supposed to have our first 100° day of the year today. Usually we hit that in early June, but the rainy and cooler start to summer spared us from that.

I saw yesterday that Phoenix set a new national record for a city, they hit at least 110° for 19 days in a row.

I'm certainly glad to be up north. We've been hovering in the high 70's, low 80's for a bit now. Was 67F this morning.
We're in the 90s daily now. We're forecast to get up into the triple digits by next week. People on TV are losing their minds over it as if it's the end of the world. I distinctly remember it getting this brutally hot multiple summers in the past.
