It's a weird story or maybe I'm not getting all of the info. Storm descends out of nowhere in Greece without any appreciable amount of rain...lots of people die instantly.
I'm pretty sure most were hit by debris.

It got up to 103°F today, 107°F with the heat index.

With every 1,000' in elevation you go up from sea level, your exposure to UV radiation goes up between 8 and 10%, so until any of you are getting blasted by extreme radiation just by leaving your home and going outside, I don't want to hear you complain about how hot it is outside.

I grew up in New England, 100% humidity and temps in the 90's is nothing I haven't experienced before.
You have not been down here in July and August. Take a vacation, come down here, spend 30 minutes outside in the mid afternoon when the temperatures are above 105°. Then talk to me about what hot really is.

I'll engage anyone in a debate about cold. I know for certain on the other side of things I couldn't handle much extreme heat. Used to love it when I was younger but not as adult.
Our air is so dry here that when I go somewhere with actual humidity, I drip. Not sure I could last in 100F heat with humidity.
Still I will always argue that a human can last longer in extreme heat than in extreme cold. Frostbite and hypothermia are real things.
And that being said, they are predicting snow 80 miles west of here and closer in the foothills during the next few days
