A balmy 9° (-13C) this morning. At least the snow has stopped for now.

All time lowest temp in October in Colorado is -2° (-19C) and we're supposed to break that tonight/tomorrow morning.

Winds really kicked up hard last night, 40 MPH sustained with 60+ gusts until this morning out of SW. I've been watching Lake Erie slosh like a bathtub last night and today. Last night lake level dropped 6 feet at the west end and rose 6 feet in the east. Then sloshed back up and back down again.
Saw a GPS track from a freighter heading west lost all forward movement at full throttle and reportedly was dealing with 12-14 foot waves

The up and down weather continues. After the cold and snow that lasted more than the first half of last week, it got up to 60° (16C) yesterday. Other than the shady areas, most of all that snow we got last week is gone. Today is supposed to be only 40° (4C) but if the forecast is right, it will be close to 70° (21C) by Saturday.
