I don't know who Louisiana pissed off but it looks like they're gonna get another major hurricane in less than a week.

Approaching the middle of October and still too hot....average temp for yesterday is 69° (21C) but the high yesterday was 84° (29C). I want Fall to be here.
wild....weather has been nice here, but it just took a little dip today with some wind
We're set for 50-75mm of rain tomorrow and more over the weekend. We get two months of summer, one dry month of fall in September, and then basically it just rains for 6 months. Here it comes

Snowed most of the day off and on yesterday and overnight. Looks like we got about 6" so far. And it's cold, currently 6° (-14C)
Was an interesting drive to work today too, roads were pretty shitty.

They got between 1 and 2 feet of snow in the wildfire areas, so we'll see today how much that will help. They were showing the area and there was still smoke/steam coming up through the snow, so won't really know until later how much of the fire got snuffed out. It's supposed to start warming up significantly today and through the rest of the week. Mid 40's and sunny today and 60's by the weekend. And back to a dry weather pattern too, so this was the best shot of Mother Nature trying to help with the fires.
